Miss Ruth began her journey with Music Together^® in the winter of 2003, when she first fell in love with the program as a mom. What started as a joyful experience with her own little ones soon grew into a calling, first to teach, and eventually to open her very own Music Together center. To love and cherish a program for so many years is a true testament to the timelessness and magic of Music Together. Miss Ruth has been blessed to perform with many choirs over the years, to study musical theater performance at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC, and, in her younger days, to perform on many stages. More recently, she has poured her creativity and talents into directing middle school theater productions for almost 20 years. Music and the performing arts have danced and swirled around Miss Ruth since she was very young, shaping the way she moves through life. Sharing this love of music and movement with families and watching the children grow musically is a precious gift. Miss Ruth has three children, two dogs, and an endless number of foster dogs who have pranced through her home, bringing joy and love for the past eight years.

Miss Jenn completed her Music Together training in 2019 and has been teaching ever since! Classes with Melody and Motion have been a constant source of joy, and Jenn loves seeing little ones grow over the course of a session. Jenn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Theater, with concentrations in Acting, Design/Tech, and Directing/Stage Management. She has worked with children in several capacities over the years, from princess parties to children’s theatre camps to preschool at the 3- and 4-year-old levels. In addition to Music Together, Jenn is training to be a theatrical audio describer for the visually impaired. She can often be found in the Box Office of one theatre or another, and loves to be onstage whenever she can. 

Alana has recently completed her Music Together training and comes to us with a love of music and Music Together!  She has worked as a preschool teacher and is a graduate of Ramapo College. She is currently taking classes and pursuing the alternate teaching route with the hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. As a new teacher to Melody and Motion, she brings her own unique and creative spin on Music Together favorites. Alana is excited to share her love of music and learning with little and big music makers alike.
